May 27, 2002 Chase pictures

After heading out west from Wichita Falls only to see storms dying, we made a decision to go after the "north" storm which was near
Amarillo at that point. The two images below are from that storm. It had a beautiful structured supercell look but never really formed
a wall cloud after we intercepted it.

After that storm became less interesting we headed south and watched this storm (below) for awhile prior to sunset.

And as we were heading home, the pictures below are near sunset. It was a beautiful sight with the
nice "3D" look and beautiful colors.
